How to remove confluence page from Google search results?

How to remove confluence page from Google search results?

I tried searching for my Confluence page in Google and I was able to see it from the search results. Is there a way to hide it?

I already tried making it private by adding restrictions but it still shows. Also, I tried `Hide External Links From Search Engines` but no effect. Please help. Thanks.

Hide external links from search engines is there to help prevent spam links. You cannot add custom html in cloud and there is no way to adjust the robot.txt See the request: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CLOUD-5915

So are we right in assuming we can't stop Google from indexing our own pages we have inside confluence?

i currently have the same issue as we do not want to find our confluence spaces via google. has there been any solution already?

Currently, if you are on Cloud there is no way to prevent indexing.
