How to request a password reset for a new account?

Hello Community!

Imagine I am a new Confluence user.

I have been granted access by my Company, but I did not enter Confluence right away.

Several weeks later (?) I tried to access my new account, but I found out the original password expired...

  1. ¿How can I automatically request a password reset for my new account?
    (Without to request my Admin to "Delete" my current account and "Create" a new one?)
  2. Which is the default value (days?) for new accounts access and password reset.

Hi @Lucas Mazzino ,

 

  • You can go to https://HOSTNAME.atlassian.net and click on the 'Unable to access your account?' option.
  • Enter the username or email associated with the account.
  • Click 'Email'

  • Alternatively, the administrator can change the user's password  to temporary password or delete and re-create the user so the invite goes out again.
