Hey @Deepak Chandrashekar Naik

The most important thing to understand and keep in mind is that Confluence is designed to be an open system. That means that it's pretty complicated to establish a system that is closed by default, and users get access to some parts of the content within a single space.

To say this upfront: Anything you try to do in this direction will be complex, tedious, and difficult to maintain.

You will have to use page restrictions, which are inherited. But that also means that you start restricting from the homepage down. But you cannot just take any page "down the page tree" and grant access to it without the user having access to the pages that are above in the hierarchy. So, you might end up considering building a parallel page tree with content that can be accessed. Long story short, familiarize yourself with restrictions and give them a go. You will notice soon that should try to find another way of solving your use case. 😅

Best, Max

@Max Foerster - K15t thank you for your response, if i understood correctly, restrictions to particular page is not possible and if at all possible, that will be issue in future.

Am i right?

Hey Deepak, exactly, view restrictions are inherited further down the page tree. So if you "closed the circle" of users with access once, you will not be able to add different people to a child page after.
