I have been using Confluence for a few weeks now for personal note taking. I am on a free plan.
I am a bit confused in regards to access rights for pages that I create.
Can anyone see or edit the pages I create in my own space?
The space-permission page seems to suggest that any confluence-user would have view & edit access. I just wanted to confirm.
Thank you!

this answer seems to suggest that they are not public, but then what does the space-permission page mean?

this answer seems to suggest that any logged in user can access the page, not sure what that means - does that mean anyone who can login to Confluence can edit my page?

@HoumanB - hi Houman!
Anyone who can access your Confluence instance can see your personal space by default.
If no one else is in your Confluence (if you're the sole admin), then you have nothing to worry about.
Since you're on a Free plan, you won't be able to lock down your personal space. You'll need to upgrade your plan to a paid tier in order to set space permissions.
Hope this helps!

Yes you can, if you have the necessary space permissions or if you are the site/space admin etc.

Hi !
I have just done my Confluence sign up. Then it asked me to create Atlassian site. I did that. I have started using confluence. I should be the site/space admin then as I had only created it. IF there is any other process for permission etc. Kindly let me know. I have created login and using FREE plan to start with.
Kindly advise who will give me permission.
Thanks

@Parveen Vats no one will give you permission. You are the site admin. So you give permissions to others now. I would suggest that you watch this course:

@Parveen Vats better create a new question and post there all your details. Screenshots would help as well

Hi @HoumanB
Even on a free plan, in the beginning everything is restricted only to the users you invite. If e.g. you've started an instance called mysite.atlassian.net, this mean that in the beginning only you have access to the free plan products you've chosen.
When you invite people to this instance of yours, then and only then you will not be able to set different permissions for these users. So everybody can do pretty much anything. For more info please read this.
