I am unable to open and edit uploaded excel and MS documents in MS Excel and MS Word

I am unable to open uploaded excel and MS documents in native applications and edit them, after the recent update.

I am getting the error like,

Hi @Ankit Gaiha, 

Confluence 5.9.7 and above have the option to edit the excel and word document. Can you change your browser and verify ? try using Chrome browser.

Additionally, make sure that the office connector plugin modules are enabled.

Hello @kiran Panduga,

Confluence was recently updated from 6.1.2 to 6.12 version.

I was able to edit the document in IE and Chrome in 6.1.2 version.

I have started facing this issue after the upgrade.

I am not able to find the office connector plugin anywhere on my system.

And based on documentation, I do not find the option to edit:

Office Connector plugin comes as part of the system add-ons in latest Confluence. Please check under the system add-on section.
