I created a personal page in confluence and use it to store information I wanted to share with my teammates. But no matter what I set in the permission. No one can see my pages. There are a group of predefined people 48 not including myself can view it even though I didn't set up for those people to view. Need help to make it viewable to my teammates and also want to know how to remove those that I don't know.
From my page: I can see the pad lock was open and using the share on the page to enter the names of my members. When I confirmed share, it will give me the response name of the person can view it. But when I go back to check who can view it. It is the same predefined group of people can view it. Basically it didn't allow me to share with anyone.
How to debug this and what can be done to make it to work.
HI @Ivy Tse
In which Space have you created a personal page? In your personal Space?
have you actually checked the Space permissions itself for your personal space? Does the group confluence-users have at least All View permissions?
The padlock on your page refers to page restrictions, but Space permissions are the first thing to check.
My personal page was created under personal space. I see many others are creating their own personal page here. When I go to space edit permission, I couldn't figure out which group I should add to access this space. The group name were all generic names with on clue what they are.
