I followed a user because of suggestions panel but am unable to find how to unfollow

I have followed some users because of the "improve your feed" suggestions but can't find unfollow a user anywhere. I don't have the "network" option described in some other issue. 

Some other questions I see this might be because of GDPR compliancy reasons, but if this "network" option was disabled because of that, why on earth is it still possible to follow users at all?

Hi @Wiebe welcome to the community.  The feature cannot be disabled there's a suggestion request in for a long time now.  There is a mentioned workaround to hide the network element.  I would suggest talking to your Confluence Admin to see if that has been done.

This doesn't answer how I can now unfollow people though, which is my most important question?

@Wiebe It's not very intuitive but from your home page top right of the feed select "edit feed" and there you can unfollow.

Hi Gary, I don't have any option like that, no feed or edit feed in sight :(
