I have a problem with the name of pages

claude godfrin June 25, 2018

Hello,

We begin with confluence ;-)

I don't know why the name for a page is :

and for another is :

http://xxxxx/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=688675

With that I can't create a good link. I can change that ?
And why I have "display" on the first page and after "pages" on the second page.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Claude

The page that uses the ID in the url has a name that can't be converted to a url without escaping one or more characters in it.

The "display" part of the url is to tell you and Confluence that you're using a link to explicitly view a page by its name, rather than ID (all pages are viewable with the id style url)

Hello, thanks for your answer :-)

We find the problem. We use french text with é è d' ... and with confluence, this page doesn't take a name.

It also what you write :-) "that can't be converted to a url "
