Hi! We have two separate projects by two teams. We have a limited budget so we cannot pay for Advanced Roadmaps functionality in Jira. But I still want to be able to visualize the relationship between the issues in both projects on one document.
I was thinking of trying to create such a document in Confluence, but not sure how to start. So I wanted to ask first whether anyone here has tried creating something like this and how to use the jira macro effectively to show what i want.
thank you for any advice!
I suggest you check this App: Jira Snapshots for Confluence (free if you are on 10 users tier).
Its a Confluence app that generates hierarchical views of Jira issues based on native Jira search (so you can be very nuanced in what issues are shown)
Disclosure: I am the product manager for this App, but check it nontheless- seems to fit exactly what you need and is much cheaper then upgrading to premium.
Hope this helps,
Rina
