I can find plenty of documentation about opening up public (anonymous) access to Confluence but nothing describes how external people actually access the space. Do they have to provide an email address and password at the login screen?
Hi @Ian Graham ,
no, anonymous access means, your Confluence pages behave just like a public website. No authentication at all.
You can find more information here:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/setting-up-public-access-156.html
That's what I thought but, like any public website, there must be a URL to go to??? How does an anonymous user view my confluence pages? - Sorry if I'm missing something obvious!
