Image Compression Issue in Confluence

Mako.Wada August 3, 2023

Hello,all

Paste the image into Confluence.

It will be compressed and displayed.

Clicking on the image allows it to be displayed properly.

While editing, the image appears larger (set at 1300pt), but when published, it becomes compressed and no longer visible.

I was inserting an image inside a table.

This was due to the narrow width of the column.

Increasing the column width eliminated the compression.

thx! @Brant Schroeder

I have this same issue today, and it is not acceptable the way it works today imo. In some knowledge base articles, we use tables to showcase 3-4 different scenarios of a feature to save height on the article. We need those images to show in full size when clicked on. Today it is useless. Are there any fixes on the way for this? Other reported bugs I can vote up? Thanks!

@Mako.Wada what happens when you just upload the image instead of pasting?  Does it still compress?

@Brant Schroederplease and thank you.

So it does the same thing when you upload as it does when you copy and paste?
