Images don't show for all users

TJ June 10, 2021

I've created a page via Rest API that includes images as html <img> tags.  The images show up fine for myself, but other users on my team can't see the images unless they right click and choose 'Open image in new tab'.  How can I get these images to show for other users?

An interesting caveat is that the images in question won't preview for me if I create a page using the Confluence editor.  Are there potentially different permissions for my API token?

Thanks if advance for any help,

T

Hello TJ! Welcome!

Would you like to post the REST script you are using? Perhaps we could try it out so we could reproduce your results. Please post steps on how to reproduce what you did.

Hyrum

Hi Hyrum,

False alarm!  I think there was some OAuth magic happening behind the scenes that I wasn't tuned into.  All good now.

Thanks for the response,

TJ

Hello TJ,

Glad it all worked out! I certainly won't want to mess with any OAuth goodness behind the scenes.

Regards,

Hyrum
