Images within a table are getting lost when exported to pdf

Arun Thakur March 20, 2025

I have table with multiple rows and with multiple images in each of the row on a confluence page. When confluence page is exported to the pdf, table formatting is not the same. Also, some of the images are not exported to the pdf document. Images that endup exported are not the same size as they appear of the document.

Is there a trick or workaround to export document as pdf as it appears on the confluence page ?

Thanks

Hi @Arun Thakur

You can customize the PDF stylesheet in Confluence Cloud to better control the layout and appearance of your exported documents. This includes adjusting image sizes and table formatting.

Please search for the app in the confluence marketplace and you will come across multiple apps which can help. There is always a free trial for all!

@Arun Thakur ,

Welcome to the community.

The standard troubleshooting questions :)

All the browser or one?

All table/page or one?

Quick workaround:

Use the browser's native print option Ctrl + P (Windows) or Command + P (Mac), print what you see in the preview.

All the Best,

Bibek

Thanks for the response. Yes, all browsers. Some images exported fine, but some are not.  Applies to multiple tables on the page.

Interesting workaround to preview what exported document would look like.

You are welcome @Arun Thakur ,

That is the best I can suggest at the moment, you can explore marketplace apps If the issue becomes a pain.

Please feel free to accept the answer if you are happy with the workaround.
