I am uploading a Word document to my Confluence child page and got an error message that the document could not be imported. It states the document contains an image of size 7,924,700 x 772,160. This is definitely not the case. All images in the document are similar to those in other documents that have previously be loaded.
Do you know why I'm getting this error message?
Thanks.
Could the issue be the quality of the image? If the image is of very high quality, this might be causing some issues as the file could be significantly larger. Maybe try compressing the image in Word and slightly lower the image quality and see if this makes a difference?
That's an interesting point. However, all images in the document are screenshots of the same platform and captured in the exact same way. And very similar in size. Something to review. Thanks.
I've loaded dozens of documents with no error messages so far. Hmmm.

I've compressed the images in Word and lowered the image quality. I also removed the images, saved them and added back to document. Still getting the same error message.

Hmm... Have your confluence admins changed the maximum attachment size? Maybe just try attaching a blank word document to see if it's actually to do with the size of the document, or if there's an issue with Confluence itself

Just to step in here, but the error message you're receiving could be a false clue.
If you speak with your Confluence admin as @Callum Carlile _Automation Consultants_ suggested, and if they confirm that you should be able to attach the document, you can have them raise a ticket with the Atlassian Support team. That way, we can inspect your site logs and determine what the cause may be.
Hopefully that helps you with the next step to take, but if you have any trouble, please let us know.
Take care, and have a pleasant weekend!
Shannon
