Insert Files and Images wizard missing

Hello,

I have been using the /Files and Images macro regularly but it suddenly started behaving differently. When I trigger the macro using the image icon or the / shortcut the wizard (see photo) no longer appears. Instead I am directly taken my usual computer file upload interface. This means that I can no longer see recent uploads - a feature I used regularly.

I am running macOS Catalina (10.15.7) and this happens on Chrome (88.0.4324.192). Firefox (86.0) and Safari (14.0.2). The same happens on Windows.

The wizard worked properly up until a couple of days ago. I might have made an accidental settings change but I do not recall changing anything in the Confluence settings.

Any help would be very appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Owen,

Sorry for the late reply but I had not seen your response. Does that mean that I have to upload an image twice if I want to use it on two pages? How can I reuse an image already uploaded?

Hi, the team is working on a feature to reference existing attachments. It will be rolling out to Jira first, but hopefully not too long for Confluence.
