Insert Macro sort

GAHH! Just went to insert a Macro in Confluence and there now appears to be a random sort order? Can I 'fix' it so it's back to alphabetical?

Which macro did you try to insert in Confluence. What sort seems to be in random order? The one that displays the macros?

1. Confluence page
2. Edit
3. In the menu, select Insert
4. Select View more

Yes I know there's a search function, but the random order would be far more useful (IMHO) as alphabetical. I have vague memories of it being alphabetical at one point.

I don't think you can change the order of how the macros are displayed.

Thanks Alex. That's what I had assumed, but I don't understand why Atlassian could not default to alphabetical.

Not a biggie in the scheme of things, just seems strange.
