Installing apps to a Confluence (Cloud) Free instance

Giovanni Román-Díaz February 9, 2023

I'm looking to install the Team Calendars app on my teams Confluence instance, but when I go to "Manage apps", it doesn't give me an option to upload an application.

We're on a free trial Confluence, so that might be why?

@Giovanni Román-Díaz,

This is because there are some functional differences between the server and cloud platforms.

Cloud doesn't allow direct uploads of plugins in the same way that server does due to the security concerns.

In addition, Confluence team calendars is actually a feature for Confluence premium. If you'd like to try it, you'd need to change your trial to a premium trial.

Thanks!

Kian
