Is it Ok to Upgrade Confluence 6.13 LTS to 7.13 LTS? Please advise.
As per release notes Atlassian confirms there is duplication bug is present in both 7.4 LTS and 7.13 LTS Version. I see people are raising the same issue even they migrate to latest LTS. So please advise that we are good to upgrade or we can wait for fix version.
@Ulta Tools Admin If it is not urgent for you to upgrade to 7.13, then i suggest you wait for the bug fix, but at least report the bug to Atlassain support .
Kind regards,
Moses
You should upgrade. you have to upgrade mysql version to at least 5.7 I think. dump upgrades work well.

@Xajuan Smith I don't think so, the bug could be a critical bug that could have impact on the performance and service. So i will not upgrade just yet i will wait for a workaround or a bug fix by Atlassian since the upgrade might not be urgent.

If @Ulta Tools Admin 's site is internet facing I have to disagree with direction not to upgrade. I have seen the vulnerability exploited and it uses 6.13 to exploit the usage of the user account on the server and can put the data for your org in jeopardy.
if it is internal only then I think taking a phased approach and rebuild your instance in a vm to test the upgrade. it is how I sorted out our company upgrade.
