Hi there!
I'd like to create a table with multiple sheets in Confluence, the easiest way perhaps is to upload the existing Excel sheets but it doesn't work. So I want to insert a table directly in the page but find no way to add sheets like Excel, any idea to finish this action?
Hi @Donghua SHEN ,
Welcome to the community !!
Please see if the below steps helps you.
Go to your confluence page, click o action menu (3 dots) --> attachments and upload your excel file.
Once the file is uploaded, click edit on the page, add "Excel" macro and select the uploaded excel file and save the macro and then publish the page.

Hi @Donghua SHEN ,
Scroll to the end of the macro section, you can see the different sheets mentioned.

Hi @Donghua SHEN ,
If you are open to 3rd party solutions, we can suggest using our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app and its Table Spreadsheet macro.
You'll be able to insert and edit spreadsheets with multiple sheets from the page view and page edit mode.
Besides with the help of the Table Spreadsheet Include macro you'll be able to reuse your sheets across your Confluence and display custom cell ranges wherever you need.

Hi @Donghua SHEN
If you’re open to using apps, one solution could be to import the three exported CSV files with the Simple Table app. It’s free, and it lets you filter and reorder data, create formulas, and group your information.
We are also working on Excel file type support, to make it easier.

Update :) @Donghua SHEN
I’m pleased to let you know that starting today we’re rolling out direct Excel support in Confluence with Simple Table app.
You’ll be able to upload or attach your .xlsx workbooks right on the page, and they’ll be rendered as editable tables.
Our development team tells me this feature will be live by the end of the day.

I’ve faced similar challenges when trying to integrate my Excel data into Confluence. I ended up just creating separate tables for each sheet on the page, which wasn’t ideal but got the job done. If you want to keep everything organized, consider using the “Include Page” feature to pull content from other pages instead. This way, you can keep your data structured without too much hassle.

Thanks @Rilwan Ahmed , I managed to insert the table into the page and can edit one of the sheets now with your help. But still got the display problem that other sheets can not be displayed in the page (only displayed the first sheet), any solution for this please?

After multiple attempts, I found out the correct macro to import multiple sheets Excel document is "table spreadsheet".
You can click on + button in tool bar and search for table spreadsheet. Once the new spreadsheet loads up, click on File and import your Excel from the local location.
Then you can start to edit the document. Once finished click Publish.
