I am building out a set of pages and I am now thinking I have the structure all wrong.
I have created sub categories for the different teams e.g. Marketing, HR etc and under each of them I have a series of pages but no Space to hold them.
I am thinking I would do better to move everything up a level in the hierachy so my pages are spaces and then when other pages are created they can be grouped.
So the question is do I have to rebuild everything from scratch or is there an easy way to change the hiearchy so sub category becomes a Category, and pages become spaces?
I'm not sure how the categories feature works in the plug-in you are using. If you were not using it, I would suggest that you:
Are your different pages listed in the page tree? If so, when you select … for the page, do you see the Move command?
I can only view pages by space so I have 1 file listed and nowhere to move it to.
I can't move from one space to another, that I can see.

How have you created the "categories"? Confluence does not have anything I would call a category, so I'm wondering if you mean the page tree, labels, or something else?

Definitely called categories in my version of site builder. This is what I have. I am using the refined plug in, maybe that makes a difference?

Ah, oh, yes, Refined adds a Categories function to Confluence. Last time I looked at it, there was no way to change a categories level, you had to delete, create, and move pages. But it's been a while since I last used it.

Hi @Katy Conway ,
Welcome to the Community!
Can you try going to Space Tools > Content Tools > Reorder Pages, here change hierarchy of pages by dragging and dropping.
Thanks,
Aditya

This only lists one page within that particular space and doesn't give anywhere to move it too.
Using site builder I can move spaces within categories but again can't change a sub category to a category.
Any other suggestions?
