Is it possible to set background colors for sections of a confluence page layout

Hi Peter,

This can't be done natively in Confluence, but there is a free Background Colour macro from Adaptavist that does what you need.  Speaking from experience, it works very well.

honestly 'Background Colour' is not free (!) It's part of the 'Content Formatting For Confluence' Plugin from Adaptavist. There is only a 'free trial' period.

That's a pity, it used to be free but apparently not now.

I am have the same issue, it is so frustrated. In older version there is much flexible section management with color and different size everything. but now it is bear minimal and very handy caped.

Even worse, there are bunch mom pap shop inserting all kinds of ad try to sale their plugins. This is not an healthy way for confluence to force customer to go to plugin so that they can make more money!!!???
