Is there a way for a request ID to be generated when a Form is submitted in Confluence?

Is there a way for a request ID to be generated when the form (confiform) is submitted by the user?

I created the request form with ConfiForms (FormView) Registrations control macro, confiforms form definition macro, and confi form table view macro. The form works however I just need to know is it possible to generate a Request ID or Form ID everytime someone submits the form?

Try adding a ConfiForms Field Definition with autonumber field type to your form

Thanks, Alex. Your solution worked by using Autonumber. The request ID number is displayed on the tableview on the Confluence page.

You can also have an autonumber with a pattern if you like to (not just the number)
