Hi everyone,
I am looking for a way to create an eBook from a page structure (parent page and all children, ideally in a custom order)
I found only one marketplace app that will allow for this, but it is server-only.
I'm open to creative workarounds. This is not an area I have experience in, and would appreciate any and all suggestions. Thank you!
Hello @Rob Horan and goood morning!
Interesting situation, out of the back of my head I could think of using K15t Scroll PDF Exporter to generate and customize the look of the end product (and simplify the export process) and then head to Calibre to convert it into an eBook 🤔
Not sure what would be the result of that process but perhaps modifying the margins using Scroll Exporter could influence the end product if everything seems out of place :o
Best regards
Rodrigo
Hi @Rodrigo ,
Thanks - yeah, my solution wound up being essentially an export to Word and then using Calibre to create an ePub. One problem I am running into now is the file size is HUGE. BUT its a 'free' option since we have the tools.

Hello @Rob Horan,
Glad to hear you found part of the solution!
I was surprised to hear about the file size, as I tested exports in the past, and everything was okay (filesize-wise), and it turns out there is a limitation regarding filesize if there are images involved according to this question here, with the suggestion to compress the file afterwards 🤔
They recommend using the online tool Compress-pdf (works with Word), but due to data privacy, I imagine it's better to use Acrobat Reader or any local solutions.
I hope you can find an easy solution that does not involve 3-steps soon 👋
All the best, Rodrigo
