Investigating how we could benefit from the new beta database option for confluence, I wonder how we could use it bearing in mind that the trigger to think about using a database instead of a confluence table or spreadsheet is mainly when you have a very large table somewhere with many records...
¿Is it possible to convert a confluence table in a page, a csv, or xlsx into a confluence database?
I'm not sure if it's precisely what you're looking for, but for existing Confluence Databases, if you click on the "meatball menu" for the database (the three dots all the way to the right ), there is an option to "Import." The text says "Paste (Ctrl+V) a table copied from a Confluence page, a website or a spreadsheet or Upload a CSV or HTML file." It might be worth trying to see if it performs as you expected.
Strange, the paste from table and CSV options work fine for me just now as a test, but maybe you want to report your issue to Altassian to see if they can get your particular use case fixed.
