When my JQL selects one issue, the Display As "Total issue count" becomes disabled. How do I make it display a link that uses my JQL with text "1 issue" ? It is curious that the "E.g.1 issues" link in the editor updates appropriately (see screenshot), so I suspect this is a bug.

We've tested here and found out that it's expected that the option shows as greyed out when we use "key = TEST-123" because it means that it's a single issue. If we use OR or IN, the option to show the issue count will work.
Please, use the JQL key in (KP-10993) to use the issue count for only one issue.

Ok, that works for me.
But it's odd that it works since that syntax selects the same results. Seems like the macro has knowledge of the syntax used, which is probably not the best design.
