Jumpy confluence pages during edit on Cloud

Rob Simons July 11, 2025

After our conversion from onPrem to Cloud, i have a few users complaining about "jumpy" pages when editing using Chrome as the browser.  Jumpy is defined the user losing "windows" focus during the edit activity.  Causing them to have click back where they were editing times and times again, during the same session.

Different browsers were used and same "jumpy" was exhibited.
I don't feel this is exactly a "machine" issue as this is just a few people in our org and we generally all have the setup "machine" setup

I did see a post about this but no actual solution.

Anyone have an idea?

Hi @Rob Simons and welcome to the community.

I experience that too - and it's 100% an issue with some of my browser extention and elements of the UI (I suspect it's related to some of the apps I have but I didn't have to investigate more).

It's something that doesn't really bother me as it doesn't happen that often. I suggest that you try using Confluence in an incognito window to see if it persist.
