Hi
I have a confluence template for reporting project status to our team. The template includes multiple Jira filters such as risks, actions, decisions etc. On the day of the project meeting the report is presented and the filters are current as of the day of the meeting which is great - however because the filters constantly update there is no history of the reports for each meeting.
Is there a way to lock the template to a point in time so it doesn't update the filters?
Thanks
Hi @Nikky FinchBrock ,
We just wrote a post on how to freeze data in Confluence to better monitor progress and store meeting notes (with macros) with the Static Snapshots app - perhaps that could help you.
Hello @Nikky FinchBrock
I am the product manager for Jira Snapshots for Confluence (https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1225123/jira-snapshots-for-confluence?tab=overview&hosting=cloud ) .
The App is a direct solution to your use case. It works similar to Jira Macro (but has some extra features)- but is capturing Jira data in a point of time.
Check this out, it might be just what you need

An alternative approach would be taking a snapshot of the page in those moments which you want to record. Then put those to page attachment or even to an external document management system.
Tip: you can take a snapshot by exporting it (to Word, PDF) or use one of the purpose-built apps (like this one).

thanks - exporting to PDF doesn't work - that was my original hack but I will look into the app. thank you

Hi @Nikky FinchBrock ,
you can add a variable within your template and use that in your page (like in the meeting notes template) but you can't put it within your JIRA filter using builin feature.
