Does anyone know if Confluence has native email notification for @mentions in Confluence? I see the notifications in the notification center, but do not get emails.
Thanks!
Hi @Steve Gibbons welcome to the Atlassian community.
To answer your query, YES the @mentions will receive a notification by email and in their workbox; if you mention them in a task, the task is assigned to them and appears in their tasks list.
And here are the official confluence server 7.12 details about the mentions and notifications:

Hi @G subramanyam . Thank you for the quick response. If I understand you correctly, a simple @ username will not spawn the email notification. However if you assign a task via @ username // do this task it will.
I checked our confluence mentions plugin and it shows 37 of 37 modules enables, however, when a colleague @ mentioned me, I did not receive an email, just a notification center notice.
Really what our clients would like is an email notification anytime they are tagged in a page.
Any additional thoughts or am I missing something? Thank you -- Steve
