Hi everyone,
We are using Confluence cloud in our company.
I have 1 parent and 3 child pages in one space.
Each child page contains the table with project report
On parent page, I would like to see the summary from these 3 child pages.
Example:
Child page 1 has a table with 2 rows and 3 columns.
On parent page, I need to see Cell in 1st row - 1st column and, when the data is updating on Child page, I need to see the updated info on parent page.
Is it possible? Any plugin, macro?
Thank you very much!
Hi Yurii,
There are a few native options in Confluence that'll allow you to display content from a Child Page and display it on the parent.
One option, that's more in line with your requirement, would be the Page Property and Page Property Report Macro. The Page Property goes on the Child Page which contain a Table of data to be displayed on the Parent. On the Parent, the "Report" is added and when viewed, displays a combined table of all of values from the Child Page Tables.
Another option could be to the Excerpt Macro on the Child Pages which contains the content (excerpt) to be displayed, and the Excerpt Include Macro on the Parent page to display the excerpt content from the Child Pages. In this option, you'd build the tables in the Excerpt Macros in each Child Page and they'll display as independent sections on the Parent.
Let me know if this helps.
