Hi, we are using the plugin "Scroll translations" on a Confluence server. We want to migrate this server to the cloud. Is there a "best practice" way. I tried an export / import, that doesn't work and the plugin is also not supported for the Cloud migration assistand.
Any help welcome
Thanks sebastian
Hi Sebastian,
As you already noticed, Scroll Translations will not be released for Confluence Cloud. However, we at K15t recently released Translations for Scroll Documents which is an extension app that enables the creation of languages and translations in the core app Scroll Documents.
We are also working on a migration path from Scroll Translation to Scroll Documents, which we hope to release soon. If you’re interested you can track the progress via our K15t Cloud Roadmap.
If you have any more questions, feel free to contact our app support: help@k15t.com
Cheers,
Johanna (K15t).
Hi @Johanna Linaker (K15t) , thanks for clarifying, this helps solution partners and customers in the app assessment phase of the cloud migration.

Hi @Johanna Linaker (K15t) , thanks for your reply. On the roadmap, I can't find the migration path from scroll translations:

Which ticket is it exactly?

Happy to be of help @Dave Mathijs :)
@Sebastian Benz you can find the public Jira issue for the migration path here: VSN-4484
I hope this helps!
Cheers,
Johanna (K15t).

Hi Johanna, I have the same issue as Sebastian. We want to migrate from Confluence Server to Cloud but all our documentation is in both English and German (created with Scroll Translations) and the German topics won't migrate. Is there any workaround to help us get all our German content into Confluence Cloud?
Regards, Adriane

Hi Adriane,
Did you try the migration path in Scroll Translations to move to Scroll Documents when migrating your translated space?

Hi Johanna,
My Scroll Documents (server) trial expired so I am purchasing the plugin (server) and will try to create a Scroll Document again.
Regards,
Adriane

Hi @Dave Mathijs , thanks for your reply. My question is, is there a workaround or a best practice to migrate a Scroll translation server to a cloud instance. Maybe in first step only one language. But I don't want to migrate all the documents manually.
