Our current Confluence installation is connected to an old Active Directory (LDAP). This week our Conlfuence installation will be migrated to a new server and database (this has been well described).
However, during this migration the Active Directory coupled to the Confluence instance will also be replaced with a new Active Directory instance. The usernames will NOT be the same as the usernames in the old Active Directory instance.
How does this affect the page creators / page updators / page comments? Will the old usernames become "unknown" or is there a special tool which can be run to update these values to the new usernames which come from the new Active Directory.
Can you give an example of an old and a new username?
-Lars
An example would be :
original username : pclae
new username: pacl14
