My page has been migrated across to Confluence Cloud but is still using the legacy editor

Gabi Griffiths May 5, 2025

After our Confluence space was migrated to Cloud, some pages (not all) are still using the legacy editor. eg. ML Non-Compliance - SATSA Project - Enterprise Confluence.

How can I enable the new editor?

Thanks

Hello @Gabi Griffiths

You can go to the space settings and update the configuration to enable the auto-convert of pages to the new editor.

To enable auto-convert:

  1. Go to the space in Confluence Cloud.
  2. Next to your space's name in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Space settings.
  3. Open the General menu and select Convert pages.
  4. Turn on Convert pages automatically.

Here is the link to KT article --> https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/convert-pages-to-the-new-editor/

Thanks,

Tushar

Thanks Tushar.  I did follow those instructions, but I feel maybe it needs to be set prior to the site migration.  In any case I found that if I put the page in edit mode, this triggers a prompt to ask if you'd like to convert the page to new editor.  So all good.
