Create a page long enough so you can scroll down at least one screen.
Add an anchor halfway down the page
Save the page
Access the page, using # in the URL to display the page at that anchor point.
Observe the page shows, but does not scroll down to the anchor point.
This problem occurs on Chrome version 88.0.4324.190, but works correctly on Chrome version 88.0.4324.150)
The anchor works correctly on Firefox and Edge.
We have made no changes to the confluence version, and the pages that are effected have been around and unedited for months or years.
Unfortunately, the anchor links are not that simple. Hover you mouse over the link, and copy the link and you will see a structure similar to
/page+name#pagename-anchortext
Don't ask me why they formatted it that way, BUT it is consistent with hour you need to manually enter links to anchors on other pages.
This leads to some questions/comments:
1) Why are existing anchors not working with the newest version of Chrome.
2) I would hate to have to update our many thousands of pages to use a different anchor syntax.
