we have upgraded confluence to version 9.2.2 and we have started to see instability on our site, we have seen Java Heap memory issues, this java thing we have bumped the value to 2048, but we need to upgrade our database from version 13.8 to version 15 at least, we have tried to do this on our testing environment but failed many times we had to restore our test machine from backups, any help would be very good, thanks in advance.
Hi @Jesus Ramirez Castro and welcome,
please could you specify what is your issue with restore?
Fabio

New cluster data and binary directories are from different major versions
this came up after I executed this command
sudo -iu postgres /usr/lib/postgresql/13/bin/pg_upgrade -o "-c config_file=/etc/postgresql/13/main/postgresql.conf" --old-datadir=/var/lib/postgresql/13/main -O "-c config_file=/etc/postgresql/15/main/postgresql.conf" --new-datadir=/var/lib/postgresql/15/main/ --old-bindir=/usr/lib/postgresql/13/bin/ --new-bindir=/usr/lib/postgresql/15/bin/ --check
thanks for your response

hey @Jesus Ramirez Castro , this is INST folder. Usually HOME folder is under /var/atlassian... but it depends how you setup instance. Go to Server info menu on the administration section to retrieve home folder location

@Jesus Ramirez Castro , that log seems to not contain the real issue. Try to restart and check the log
