No email notification when I'm mentioned

If I'm mentioned on a page, I don't get an email notification. Why ?

Could this be why? 

• Mention notifications - A notification is sent to the people you mention the first time you mention them, but not for subsequent mentions. If you need to catch someone's attention, and you've already mentioned them, try sharing the page with them instead.

Yes, that would be possible. But how exactly does it work with sharing? Does the page have to be reshared every time I was mentioned again?

And what about tasks. If I am assigned a new task, I will not receive an email notification

@Tobias Scherrmann - no I do not thing the page has to be reshared every time you were mentioned again. I think once the page is saved you should be notified.
