Hello experts.
I invested some time to sort this out, but obviously couldn't find what I was searching for. Sorry, if my question was (surely) answered before:
I want to implement hints into my pages that are not printed or exported (to ms-office or pdf). Some helpful content for editors that is only seen when working in confluence cloud.
And if possible in general, may these objects be foldable or the content hidden? Like for mouseover hints.
Many thanks.
Stephan
@Dr_ Stephan Roth Welcome to the community!
You can add these instructions or hints as placeholder text on the template your writers and editors use for pages. This text is only visible while in Edit mode. See https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-a-template/ for more information.
Hello @Dr_ Stephan Roth, just writing to agree with @Barbara Szczesniak, as that is a very elegant solution. Another alternative could be to use comments as well, however these are not as pretty :)
Best of luck!

Understood and nice Idea, but just close to what I need. The content I am talking about should stay where it is and is not edited or deleted.
I simply need it not to be printed or exported. I don't know which elements have that option.
By talking about "hints" I mean instructions that could be a few pages long...e.g. complete legal texts. Sorry, it seems I was not explaining very well.
Aren't comments exported to word .docs?
