Page not found

Anand Sakthivel July 8, 2020

Hello,

We have two instances of confluence running, production and staging. When I sync the data from production to stage I can see all the new updates being synced but when I click the links I get "page not found".

Here's what I'm doing.

1. Take a backup of confluence DB and restore it to stage.
2. Rsync the data folder "/var/atlassian/application-data/confluence/"
3. Restart confluence.

Am I missing anything?

Thank You

Br,

Anand

Before restoration and rsync, did you stop Confluence?

After restoration, and restart, do you then change the base url from production to staging, and run a fill re-index?

Yes, I stopped Confluence, restored the dump and synced the data. But how I run a file re-index ?

Log in as an admin, go to Admin and look for "content indexing".  Your Confluence will remain usable while it runs.
