I have 'View & Edit' access on a page and thus able to perform my duties as expected. But, i wanted to add another team to do the same for which i added her with "View & Edit' permission, but she is able to view the page unable to edit.
Could you please suggest the possible reasons and solution to get her the permission to edit.
Hi Fabian,
The user who needs edit access is Leah McCarthy.
That is a page only restriction. What you need to do, is also provide access via the space permissions as explained here: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/assign-space-permissions/
Only the space admin can do that.
Cheers

I agree with Fabian. Permissions are inherited by child pages from the space first and can be adjusted at pages. that is why it important to understand the hierarchy. You need to check with the space administrator to see if that level of permissions is blocking Leah.

Hi @Praveen Jaya Kumar welcome to the community!
Can you please check if your colleague has access to edit the parent page as well ? If your colleagues doesn't have edit access to the parent page, she might not be able to edit the child page, due to permissions inheritance.

Even i don't have the Edit access to the parent page, but am able to edit this page. So, looking for a very similar permission.
Thanks,
Praveen

Hi Praveen, the assumption here is that the user already has access to the space. If that is not the case, then this issue is likely to happen.

Can you share a screenshot of the permissions you have in your space? If you can pinpoint the user who is having issues, we can see if they have been set properly.
This should be an easy one to figure out.
Thanks
