Hello,
I use a public link to share meeting notes with my teams. It was reported to me yesterday and again this morning that they were unable to access the page and are seeing the following error error.
I tested users accessing the page with an account (successful) and users without an account (not successful).
Is anyone else experiencing this? Is there a bug?
Thank You
Welcome to the community.
I can't reproduce it on my instance, can you try to disable the public link feature on the space or on global level in the instance.
If non is working, raise an issue at Atlassian Support
For space action, you will need to be space admin, for the other actions, a you will need to Confluence admin.
Thank you!
Appreciate the response; our Confluence Admin has followed the advised guidance and unfortunately this has not worked.
I shall reach out to Atlassian Support.

This is not an isolated issue, see below:
"We received similar tickets reporting the same behavior today, so we opened an internal incident in order to investigate this with the development team. The devs reviewed it and already identified the root cause of this issue. Now, they are actively working on finding a fix which should be rolled out soon."

@Amanda Hallifax Thanks for confirming.
Since disabling/re-enabling the public link feature at both the space and global level didn’t resolve it, and anonymous users still can’t view the page, this might be tied to a recent change in how Confluence handles public links or anonymous access.
Atlassian Support will be able to check your site’s specific configuration and logs — sometimes, if anonymous access is disabled globally or restricted due to your plan type/security updates, public links won’t behave as expected.
Please share the resolution here when Support gets back to you — it’ll help others in the community who hit the same issue.

Thank you for the feedback; a ticket is now in and awaiting a response - I will ensure to drop the solution in when I have received an update.
