Pulling content located in a different space to the 2nd space

CONNIE NGUYEN July 6, 2020

Hi, I started a knowledge base space, and have been working on the landing page. On the landing page, I wanted to include 5 latest Release Notes which are posted in the Product Space. I don't want to use Include Page macro because it results in a laundry list of notes. I want to just pick 5 latest, or if not possible, then add a dropdown arrow to nest those release notes inside. This is how ugly it looks like right now:

Hello @CONNIE NGUYEN !

I believe that we have a macro that does exactly what you need to get done. It is called the Recently Updated macro.

With the macro, you are able to filter results based on:

Space – Use Space Keys to select one or more spaces to look after content

Labels – Look only at content with specific labels

Type – Display only selected content type such as page, blogpost, comment or attachment

You can also limit the number of results displayed within the macro.

To achieve the desired result, you can use the Space Key of the Product Space to look only at it. Then, filter out for a specific label, such as release-notes. After that, you can limit the displayed content to only five items.

Here is further documentation about the macro:

I hope this helps!

Hi Diego,

Thank you so much for suggesting your idea. To make the page looks less messy, I ended up nesting the Include page macro inside the Expand macro. I think it works for now. I think can help :)

Cheers,

Connie

Nice! Good to know you were able to find a suitable look for your page. Maybe try the macro in a test page and check how it looks!

Come share with us again.
