I have set up two-step verification, using Google Authenticator on my phone, and I would now like to additional use the Google Authenticator plug-ins and extensions for my browsers.
Does anyone know how I can either regenerate the QR code or get the "secret key" (which is what all the plugins ask me for)?
FYI: the ability to disable two-step authentication is not available to me, so I cannot simply disable then re-enable.
Did you get a solution this problem - I'm having the same issue.
Hi
Yes, I did get a response.
Apparently, this feature isn't supported or available by Atlassian and the only way to regenerate a new QR code is to disable 2FA and then re-enable it, which my organisation will not do.

I can confirm you can get a new QR code if you disable and re-enable two factor authentication.

This is completely unworkable if, like me, you lost the device with the authenticator app on it. How can I set up authentication again?

If you are able to log in to an account on Google Authenticator app on a phone, you have the option to 'export accounts' to another device via the '...' menu. This will generate a QR code
