Is it possible to read the data from another Wiki page and use/display it in my Wiki page?
Appreciate the help!
I did try the Excerpt and Excerpt include Macros and they work. The question is can I use any function without the master page having an "excerpt" macro. My requirement is to read some of the data from a few wiki pages that I am not the owner of and show it on my wiki page. It would be hard for me to ask the other owners to add Excerpt macros to their pages.
Is what I am asking even possible?
thank you!
Have a look at this thread, you can use either the excerpt macro or the include page one to do this.
yes...i did try that one and it did work....but please read the edited version of my question

No, the pages that you want to get parts of has to have the excerpt macro added to them. The other option is to use the page insert macro, but that will bring in the full page, not just part of it.
