Lucia October 25, 2018

Creating a space just for reference, FAQs, training content. how do I remove the author and like from populating to these pages. Confluence Cloud.

Admin has given me permissions to space/and says full permissions and admin are the same.

I located code to use on confluence site; However I am unable to access the 'stylesheet' only see 'pdf stylesheet' from space settings.

This seems like a feature request that had been open for 6 years and is no longer taking votes. Is there going to be any action here? thanks!

Hi Debra,

The feature request is still open, and we are still taking votes on it, but it's not in our upcoming roadmap at this time. It's still worth adding your vote and comments! If you're not able to vote, can you verify that you're logged into jira.atlassian.com?

For more information on how we approach feature requests, you can also have a look at our Implementation of New Features Policy.

Thank you!

Regards,

Hi Shannon, Thanks for taking the time to respond. Is there another ticket? this one now reads closed and I am logged in. Actually, I realize I am looking at a duplicate ticket (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-57458?_ga=2.112787460.1047747894.1580845419-1989036018.1568135835), but the one to which you refer is not accepting votes.. at least I can't click this space. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-30449?_ga=2.112787460.1047747894.1580845419-1989036018.1568135835

Hi Debra,

If the Vote for this issue is greyed out in CONFCLOUD-30449, then check at the top right-hand corner that it doesn't say Log in. Yesterday it was my suspicion that you might not be logged into our bug reporting site.

Example:

CleanShot 2020-02-06 at 08.21.14.png    CleanShot 2020-02-06 at 08.21.25.png

I logged in with my test customer account as well, without Atlassian privileges, and it also allows me to vote for the issue.

I hope this helps.

Regards,

Shannon

Echoing others' responses, the above request is marked as closed to Duplicate and the linked ticket that is still open (https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-30449) is from 2013.  Is this actually correct?  We're voting on a fairly important Cloud issue that has been open for over seven years?

Much like others in this thread and in all those linked tickets, we're trying to create a customer-visible space, and I don't really want customers to know who wrote the article and attempt to contact those folks directly.

Hi Lucia,

It's not possible to customize Confluence Cloud in this way. See the Functional Differences in Confluence Cloud:

On Atlassian Cloud, Confluence uses a custom theme, which cannot be modified or updated using custom HTML or CSS (not supported). For more information on custom themes in Confluence Cloud, refer to  Working with Themes . Confluence Cloud Developer community: You can also create your own theme for Confluence Cloud. Check out the  Theme page  in our Confluence Cloud Developer documentation.

We have a feature request below to be able to hide the author information:

  • CONFCLOUD-57458 Provide a way to hide author and last modified information

I understand this isn't what you were hoping for, but if you would like, please vote on that request and comment with your usage case. You'll be automatically subscribed to the thread so you can receive updates if there are any changes.

Regards,

Shannon
