Reset Confluence Site

We are a company transitioning from start up mentality to a more mature organization.  Leadership has asked me to evaluate options for "resetting confluence" since the data is not structured and content is all over the place.  Is my best bet to delete the instance and start fresh?  Is there an option to archive the content or should I simply ask all content authors to backup their data to other sources?

Hi John,

Deleting content should be your final instance as it might be difficult to get it back. 

However, if you still need a fresh start I can recommend you to put everything in a single space and then just delete it.
