in Edit mode on Cloud when I click on Ctl-F it only shows Search box but the replace box is missing - does anyone know what or why is it not working?
Find and Replace was available in the old editor (and still is, if you have pages using the previous editor). You can activate Find and Replace from the magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner.
The new editor however does not have Find and Replace at this stage - there is an enhancement request for it, see CONFCLOUD-66370. However this does appear to be on on the long-term backlog according to the Feature Comparison page and the status of the enhancement.
For now, I'd suggest either:

Thanks Stephen for the response and short team soultion.
Would appreciate if the CLOUD-66370 could be prioritize higher in the feature list as we are converting all our old pages to new format to take advantage of the new enhancement that confluence has to offer (and I'm sure there are other user in the community like us too ) and fact that considering that search and replace functionality is the basic functionality in all the application not sure why this would get a lower priority.
Business changes are very agile and we need to way to capture our requirements / design and Confluence being our main tool for staring this is critical for user community. Appreciate if you could look at the prioritization of this feature and deliver earlier.
Thanks Stephen and have a wonderful day
