The given page is in an archived space, but pops up in search even when not searching archived spaces. Then upon clicking on the link given in the search results list, we get a "Page not found" with a suggestion to use the archived page instead.
Why is this? And how do we remove a page like this (which only exists in an archived space) from the non-archive search results?
Thank you for any tips!
Hi Klara,
Are all archived pages showing up in search results or only certain ones?
If you were to reindex Confluence, does the page still show up?
Shannon
Not all archived pages. We just found this one with strange behavior. And I'm not sure yet if it's related to it's archived status or if the problem is rather that a page which does not exist (among the current non-archived pages) is displayed in the search results.
What do you mean by reindexing Confluence? Could you post a link?

Hi Klara,
I would also try re-indexing first. An article can be found here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/content-index-administration-148844.html
However please note that during re-index the search index is not available. If this is a production system you might want to do it in non-production hours.
Best, Tobias
