Did you mean:

Search with wildcard * at the end of a word does not find the word followed by a space character

Bettina Klammer April 25, 2018

If I search with header I get 2 results:

page 1: header, Page2: Header

If I search with header I get just 1 result - another:

page3: headerAAA

This is definitly wrong. There should also be found page1 and page2.

What's wrong here??

Bettina,

Can you clarify what exactly you're searching? In both cases, you said you searched just the word header but got two different results.

Where are you using the wildcard?

Shannon

Hi Shannon, sorry for that.

The second time I searched with header*

Thank you for confirming, Bettina.

Which version do you happen to be using? I created two pages, one called Header and one called HeaderAAA, and when I search header* it finds both:

Can you tell me what I'm doing differently? This is version 6.8.1.
