Hello
When I use the confluence dynamic search plugins, I find the documents concerning my search criteria.
If I click on a document, preview opens in the browser, but if I close the document, I do not come back to my search page, but in the confluence page where the document is.
Is there a solution so that when I close the document, I come back to my search page?
Thank you
Exemple :
1. Search on test ans click on the doc
2. Open and close the doc
3. I return in the page where is the doc but not in the search page
Hi, when clicking on an attachment (e.g. a pdf) in the search results, Confluence implicitly navigates first to the page that contains the pdf as attachment and then, in a second step, opens the pdf in preview. When you close the pdf preview, it's still on the containing page. Clicking the back button then in your browser, brings you back to the preview which I find weird.
To avoid that, don't click the preview to close, but just press the back button of your browser, that should bring you directly to the search results.
Hello Henning,
Yes, it is a solution but not for a lambda user.
When he closes document he should go back to where he did his search ...
Especially that here, documents are in another space. The user is lost in his navigation.

I agree, and have no other workaround, sorry.
