Set value and readonly in confiform

Hi There

Would like to set a value and making the field read-only based on dropdown item

dropdown field:

• name: status
• Values: A and I

text file:

• name: pName

When the user select status as "I"

I would like to do the following

pName = inactive 

pName become readonly with reverse

I tried to use 2 rules for this 

• Set Value
• Readonly with reverse 

but it doesn't work

please help, thanks

Hi

When you set the field to be readonly then you cannot set the value on it via the rule

@thanks for the clarification! I guess doesn’t matter of the order of rules, was hoping set value first then make it read only
