Setting a Home Page for a space

Andy July 31, 2018

I created a new space for our PMO and started to fill in pages relevant to what we were interested in. Then I noticed the root page has a message as follows:

WELL, THIS IS A BIT AWKWARD.

This space doesn't have a homepage so there's nothing to display here. Sad panda.

Add a homepage now to spruce things up, and use it to tell your visitors what this space is all about!

When i select the button set the home page I am asked to put in a url so, "The page that displays when users navigate to this space."

How do I figure out what to put in there? I think the system normally does this?

You don't give it a url, just select a page in the current space you want to use as the home page.  Most of the space blueprints create a home page automatically.

Ok, Understand. In this case I am just learning. I will just re-create a page to have a home page. Thanks for your repl.

Hi Andrew,

Please try setting the home page for the space at Space Tools>Overview>Space Details:

The Space Tools menu is at the bottom left corner of the sidebar.

Thanks,

Ann
